How very sad, Karin. Such a beautifully expressed, heartbreaking story. I just wish there were more Sue’s in the world, and less Dames. We have to keep on keeping on, for the sake of the elderly and the children, and the most vulnerable in our society.

Fortunately, my mother remains unjabbed. I don't know the rules about the staff there but they can't legally apply jabbing rules to visitors or staff really. Most care homes will not take an unvaccinated elderly person. I wouldn't give up. Perhaps try just being a visitor, pick a few elderly people and spend precious time with them?
