I'm curious why you say you've got scientific stuff to tell you can't prove. Why aren't you able to prove it? If it's scientific it should be perfectly possible to prove.

I spend a lot of time with people, so many different people. I have noticed something that seldom fails. When their eyes meet mine and I smile, there's an instantaneous connection. Their eyes and expression changes, softens and lights up. Very few don't respond. It makes me think it's the lack of connection that has gone wrong with humanity. Isolation was the worst evil. @biologyphenom has annotated that time and again. People feel safe to talk once a connection is made. Maybe we stopped listening and so people stopped talking. I think the challenge is to find the way to be heard and the way to listen. It certainly requires effort. Something I won't shy away from. We are all so very different and yet so similar. That's a good thing, I think. We can stab the beast from a billion different angles instead of being corralled into tribes.
My husband is right. I spend too much time distracted with interesting stuff. I need a balance because I withdraw and get totally immersed. He would never stop me writing. He just rescued a baby blue tit, just fledged. He has an amazing affinity with birds. As for science, I trust nothing. Not peer reviewed papers. Not the system. And they won't stick a needle in me ever again, not for a blood test or even a local anaesthetic. Too much noise out there and I won't quote stuff I can't be sure is right. I'm ok with that but others must decide for themselves. I need a lot of work on my own life. My responsibility.

Yes, exactly, we need to be able to agree on reality, or stay tribal .
